The R300 is extremely easy to set up and use. By default, the display on the R300 shows you video from both lenses. Once attached to your windshield, adjust the camera positioning so that it is pointed correctly inside the vehicle, then simply move the front lens up or down to accurately capture video on the front windshield. We like that the interior lens is neatly integrated into the body of the camera, in the center of the menu buttons.
Attach the supplied external GPS antenna to the R300 to capture your vehicle's location, speed, etc., as well as video.
The R300 comes with easy to use X2 software to read video and GPS position logs. When you remove the memory card from the R300 and place it in your computer or card reader, the software is already present on the memory card. Quite convenient! X2 works with Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7, sorry, no Mac software is currently available.
A Micro SD memory card (8, 16 or 32 GB - Class 6 or higher) is required for use with the DVR-R300. Memory card is not included.
