Ambient Awareness Technology

The E8 earphones take a passive approach to keeping you connected to the outside world while immersing you in your favorite music. They do this by using three narrow slots in the eartips that allow low-level ambient sound to enter your ear. You get three pairs of eartips in different sizes to help you get a good fit.

Hands-free calling and digital assistants

The E8 earbuds feature a built-in microphone and a multi-function button that lets you accept/end phone calls, manage music playback, and give voice commands to your mobile device's digital assistant.

Pioneer Notification App for Android

For those with an Android phone, you can use the E8 earbuds to listen to notifications from your mobile device. The Pioneer notification app can tell you who tweeted and what they said, it will read you emails and text messages, alert you to upcoming calendar reminders, and more.

Load case

Each earbud stores easily in the included color-matched charging case. This case has its own built-in battery that can recharge your earbuds twice, for a total of 9 hours of playtime before you need to plug in the case. To see how long the battery will last in the case, simply shake it to activate the built-in LED status indicators.
