IDEAL Keystone Connectors are high-performance modular jack connectors designed to exceed the requirements of ANSI/TIA-568-C.2, providing installers with the ability to use these products in residential and commercial installations for applications such as Gigabit Ethernet.
All connectors feature a robust internal PCB design, used to help reduce NEXT (near-end crosstalk) and improve RF performance at higher frequencies. The IDC tower design and structure helps simplify and speed up the wiring and termination process. The tapered towers help separate each pair in the individual IDC location without the need to untwist each pair. This allows the pairs to easily maintain the recommended maximum of 1/2'' twist per pair of the cable jacket.
Twisted pairs stay together. With the PCB design, each color pair is terminated side by side in a uniform pattern. Less time spent untying, separating and routing individual conductors to IDC contacts.
These CAT3 level voice jacks feature a standard RJ-45 port that accepts RJ-45 (8P8C) and RJ-11/12 (6 position) modular plugs. The jack has 6 active IDC contacts for use with 1, 2 or 3 line phone/fax/data lines.
The sockets have the USOC wiring diagram and pinout pre-labeled at each IDC location.
IDEAL Keystone connectors have an industry standard profile interface and locking location (14.5mm x 16mm), so they are compatible with many other Keystone size panels, racks and faceplates.
Standard, medium-sized (2.75 x 4.75 in.) faceplates in white and ivory are available in 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, and 0-port configurations. Blank inserts can be used to fill unused ports on the faceplate.
