7 ft (2.1 m) shielded Cat6a Ethernet network cable in blue, with an RJ-45 connector on each end. It links a computer, router, switch or game console (PS3, PlayStation, Xbox) to your wired network, where interference would degrade an ordinary cable.
- Length: 7 ft (7 feet, 2.1 m)
- 7 ft length: the everyday length, from the computer to the wall jack under the desk, or from the TV to the router in the same cabinet
- Up to 10 Gbps, compatible with 100BASE-T, 1000BASE-T (gigabit) and 10 gigabit networks
- Straight-through (straight-thru) patch cable, 4 twisted pairs
- Shielded STP cable, 100% pure bare stranded copper conductors under an overall foil shield: the signal stays clean near power cables and in crowded racks
- Metal RJ45 connectors that carry the shielding all the way to the port
- 24 AWG, 4 twisted pairs, CMG jacket, type CM (cUL) certified
- Colour: blue, to spot this link at a glance in a rack or behind furniture
Why you'll love it
Shielding keeps the connection steady where it usually suffers: along power wiring, in a workshop or in a full rack. You get the full speed of your network, with no dropouts or slowdowns. Available from 1 ft to 300 ft, in six colours: blue, white, black, grey, red and green.
