This 600 ml French press pairs a glass carafe with a copper-plated stainless steel frame. The frame is corrosion-resistant chromium-nickel stainless steel, finished with gold electroplating and an Italian floral decal, so it works as a display piece as much as a brewer. Add coarse grounds, pour hot water, steep, then press for a full-bodied cup — about two and a half cups per brew. The silicone-wrapped handle stays comfortable to hold, and the wide base keeps it steady on the counter. When you're done, the filter assembly comes apart for fast, thorough cleaning.
