14 AWG 4-conductor speaker wire with twisted, fine-stranded oxygen-free bare copper conductors and a glossy, UV resistant PVC jacket rated from -40 °C to +105 °C. Supplied as a 300 m (984 ft) coil in a pull box, it works inside the walls of the house as well as outdoors, in the sun or buried in the ground out to your patio speakers. Its 300 m is made for installers and large jobs.
- Length: 300 m (984 ft) coil in a pull box
- Right-sized for: installers and large jobs: several units, a store, a hall
- 14 AWG gauge: the all-round gauge for residential installs: in-ceiling and in-wall speakers, home theatre, medium to long runs
- 4 conductors: two speakers in a single run, such as the left and right pair in one room, or a stereo ceiling speaker; twisted conductors with black, red, green and white insulation make polarity easy to follow
- Conductors: fine-stranded oxygen-free copper (OFC), 105 strands of 0.16 mm, flexible enough to follow bends inside walls
- Outdoors and in: UV resistant black PVC jacket for outdoor runs in the sun and direct burial, rated from -40 °C to +105 °C
- Easy stripping: a paper tape wraps the conductors, so once the jacket is scored they come free cleanly, even in warm weather
- Smooth pulling: round, glossy jacket slides without snagging, resists light scratches, and has a nylon ripcord
- In-wall installation: CM and CMG rated PVC insulation and jacket, FT4 rated jacket, c(UL)us listed
- Diameter: 8.4 mm (0.33 in), 300 V rating
- Length markings: descending markers on the jacket show how much is left in the box, and an EZ Mark legend printed every metre lets you tick off the room each run serves
- REELEX box: the wire pays out straight from the box with no twists, kinks or tangles, and no reel stand
- Compliance: RoHS
- Model: SW-AUD144BK-300PG
Why you'll love it
One wire for the living room and the backyard: its jacket stands up to the sun, cold down to -40 °C and direct burial, and its glossy surface slides through walls without snagging. The paper tape under the jacket makes stripping quick and clean, a real time saver when you connect several speakers.
Also available in 150 m and in white (150 m and 300 m).
