14 AWG 4-conductor plenum speaker wire with twisted, fine-stranded oxygen-free copper conductors and a CMP FT6 rated jacket. Supplied as a 300 m (984 ft) coil in a pull box, it runs above the drop ceilings of offices, stores and halls, where building codes call for plenum cable. Its 300 m is made for installers and large jobs.
- Length: 300 m (984 ft) coil in a pull box
- Right-sized for: installers and large jobs: several units, a store, a hall
- 14 AWG gauge: the all-round gauge for residential installs: in-ceiling and in-wall speakers, home theatre, medium to long runs
- 4 conductors: two speakers in a single run, such as the left and right pair in one room, or a stereo ceiling speaker; twisted conductors with black, red, green and white insulation make polarity easy to follow
- Conductors: fine-stranded oxygen-free copper (OFC), 105 strands of 0.16 mm, flexible enough to follow bends inside walls
- Plenum: white PVC jacket rated CMP FT6, for installation above drop ceilings; designed to limit harmful smoke in a fire
- Certification: c(UL)us listed, with a nylon ripcord to open the jacket without tools
- Temperature: -20 °C to +75 °C
- Diameter: 6.8 mm (0.27 in), 300 V rating
- Length markings: descending markers on the jacket show how much is left in the box, and an EZ Mark legend printed every metre lets you tick off the room each run serves
- REELEX box: the wire pays out straight from the box with no twists, kinks or tangles, and no reel stand
- Compliance: RoHS
- Model: SW-AUD144WH-300PL
Why you'll love it
In an office, a store or a hall, the space above the drop ceiling calls for plenum cable: this one is CMP FT6 rated and c(UL)us listed. The REELEX box pays it out without tangles, the jacket markings tell you how much is left, and the printed legend saves you labelling every run.
