Black transmitter and receiver set that carries 1080p HDMI video and audio over a single Cat5e or Cat6 network cable, up to 60 m (197 ft). It brings a cable box or computer signal to a TV in the basement, a meeting room or a bar, where an HDMI cable cannot reach.
- Contents: one transmitter (TX) and one receiver (RX)
- Distance: up to 197 ft (60 m) over Cat5e, or recommended Cat6, cable between the units
- Video: up to 1080p at 60 Hz, also 1080i, 720p, 576p and 480p, with no quality loss
- Audio: DTS-HD, Dolby TrueHD, LPCM 7.1, DTS and DSD
- Loop out: an HDMI output on the transmitter keeps a local screen connected near the source
- Remote control: 20 to 60 kHz IR pass-through to control the source from the other room, plus CEC support
- Standards: HDMI 1.3 and HDCP 1.2
- Power: 5 V DC, 1 A
- Operating range: -15 to 55 °C
- Model: SSAV-EX1080-60M
Why you'll love it
Instead of a long, costly and fragile HDMI cable, a simple network cable, often already in the walls, carries picture and sound from room to room. Setup takes minutes, and the source's remote keeps working from the other screen.
Also available in 4K up to 70 m, in 4K with keyboard and mouse (KVM) up to 60 m, and as a wireless 1080p model.
