- Use: connects a TV, console or cable box to a stereo or speakers that only have RCA inputs
- Inputs: optical or coaxial digital, with coaxial taking priority when both are connected
- Output: analog stereo left and right on RCA jacks
- Loop out: the digital signal passes through a coaxial jack to feed a second device
- Format: PCM (LPCM) audio, 32 to 192 kHz sampling; set the TV audio output to PCM
- Indicator: flags no signal or an unsupported format
- Power: 12 V DC, center positive
- Dimensions: 3.5 x 2.5 x 1.1 in (8.8 x 6.5 x 2.9 cm)
- Model: SS-DA-AN-02
Why you'll love it
Your trusty stereo does not have to retire because the TV dropped its analog output. This converter bridges the gap with no loss, and its loop out lets the digital signal continue on to a soundbar or receiver.
