Round dual voice coil in-ceiling speaker that plays both left and right channels from a single unit, with a 6.5 in woofer and two 0.5 in tweeters. It brings stereo to a room with space for only one speaker: bathroom, hallway, closet or small kitchen.
- Quantity: sold individually
- Stereo from one hole: the dual voice coil acts as two speakers, with four terminals for left and right
- Drivers: 6.5 in woofer and two 0.5 in tweeters, 8 ohm, 80 W
- Sound: 40 to 20,000 Hz response, 89 dB sensitivity (1 W, 1 m)
- Discreet grille: thin rimless round grille held by magnets, paintable to match the ceiling
- Installation: tabs clamp the drywall, spring-loaded terminals and cut-out template included
- Dimensions: 9.1 in (23.2 cm) diameter, 3.6 in (9.2 cm) deep
- Cut-out: 7.9 in (200 mm) diameter hole
- Model: SS-ICS-6-DVC
Why you'll love it
You do not need two speakers to enjoy stereo in a small room: one hole in the ceiling does it. The sound is full from bass to treble, and a painted grille makes it nearly invisible.
Also available in 5.25 in and 8 in, and in 6.5 in single, pair or Kevlar pair.
